Team
The multidisciplinary team you'll work with
It's not just one surgeon. JCI-standard care coordinates 8 specialised roles for every operation — this page explains what that means for international patients.
Who makes up the clinical team for an ENT / rhinoplasty procedure?
A standard ENT or rhinoplasty case is coordinated across 8 roles: (1) Surgical Lead — professor surgeon driving the operation; (2) Anaesthesiologist — airway, anaesthesia plan, post-op pain management; (3-4) OR Nurses — circulating + scrub pair, sterile-field check; (5) Recovery Nurse — 24-hour post-op observation; (6) International Patient Coordinator — match in 8 languages, visa/transfer/hotel; (7) Sterilisation & Infection Control — JCI protocol, traceable records; (8) Pathology & Imaging Partner — frozen-section + integrated reporting. Post-op rehabilitation (voice, vestibular, drainage) added on demand.
